Update From May 26th Planting Day Event At Montgomery College

A very successful workday:

  • a little bit of fencing was installed (more to be installed on a future workday)

  • planted mulberries, a pecan, sochan, bush cherries, blackcurrants, paw paw, beautyberry, and a bunch of native perennials throughout the site

  • a team transplanted hundreds of donated seedlings (golden alexander, rudbeckia hirta, liatris spicata, Jerusalem artichoke)

  • group of kids did some rock painting to beautify the site
